Simply put, I went to a garage sale last week and typed up all the cards that I have acquired. I know that many of you are experts on this sort of thing, so please tell me what kind of cards are good and which ones I don't need. I have a large assortment of traps and spells, but not as much monsters. Or strong monsters for that matter. There's the List of what I acquired at the garage sale (for a measly 5 bucks, apparently they pushed on me one of those toy duel disks, but I gave it to my cousin since I don't have a need for such things). I've lost count of the number I have so far, but I know that I'm over the 40 card limit. Monsters (multiple elements and varied races) Man-Eater Bug x2 Kuriboh x2 Ancient Elf Shadowslayer Chu-Ske the Mouse Fighter EH Burstinatrix Rare Metal Dragon Ancient One of the Deep Forest Empress Mantis Magical Ghost Masked Dragon Zombyra the Dark Warrior Dai Grepher x2 Turtle Bird Steel Ogre Grotto#2 Curse of Dragon Master & Expert Guardian of the Throne Room Trap Master Great Angus Doma the Angel of Silence Gearfried the Iron Knight Armed Dragon Lv 3 Armed Dragon Lv 5 Mystic Clown x2 Witch of the Black Forest Robolady Dark Scorpion Burglars The Dragon Dwelling in the Cave x2 Element Magician Patrician of Darkness Cyber Falcon Molten Behemoth Dream Clown Deepsea Warrior Boar Soldier Vampire Orochis Penguin Knight Armored Lizard Feral Imp Girochin Kuwagata Firegrass Dark Assailant Island Turtle Possessed Dark Soul Soul of Purity and Light Ojama Yellow The Little Swordsman of Aile Two-Mouth Darkruler Mystical Sheep#2 Tripwire Beast Skull Red Bird Misairuzame Darkfire Soldier#1 Night Assasilant The Unhappy Girl Gigobyte Trent Spirit Ryu x2 Souleater Super Robolady Troop Dragon Skull Mariner The Illusionary Gentleman Serpentine Princess Dragon Manipulator Fiend Skull Dragon Trap/Spell/Magic Cards Swords of Revealing Light Dan Keto the Cure Master Remove Trap x2 Waboku x3 Soul Exchange Pot of Greed Monster Reborn Polymerization Chorus of Sanctuary Dark Hole x4 Mystical Space Typhoon Fissure x2 Change of Heart De-spell x2 Re-fusion Miracle Dig Yami x2 Mountain Card Destruction Reload Pyramid Energy Malevolent Nuzzler Poison of the Old Man Card Shuffle Dragon’s Gunfire Release Restraint Chain Energy Vile Germs Monster Gate The Law of the Normal (I have a lot of level 2s) Raregold Armor Shield and Sword Spiritual Energy Settle Machine x2 After Genocide Enchanted Javelin Magic Jammer x2 Collected Power Castle Walls x2 Ultimate Offering Trap Hole Interdimensional Matter Transporter Two Pronged Attack Reinforcements Reverse Trap Trap Jammer A Wingbeat of Giant Dragon Spirit’s Invitation Follow Wind Hidden Book of Spell Light of Intervention Seven Tools of the Bandit The Dragon’s Bead Micro Ray Life Absorbing Machine Nutrient Z Ready for Intercepting |

Hmmm....It looks pretty much like you have the basic needs for a beatdown deck right now. Hmmm...... |

Trust me, I doubt any of these are banned. And they aren't that powerful ATT wise. I'd be lucky to beat up one 7 star monster with this stuff. |

A beatdown deck is for quick shots. In other words, you have massively powered monsters who are four starred. Take Gemini Elf, Luster Dragon 1 and Zombyra the Dark for examples. They're all four starred and have quite a few attack points. |

Quick shots huh? (sighs) I might as well put a target on my back when they crush me into a pulp. |

SH, remember this- Waboku and Trap Hole = Your friend. Change of Heart is useful for countering your opponent's stronger monsters, as well, and can give you the upper hand in a pinch. |

With what you have you could make.....a piece of shit. You don't have enough to make a good competitive deck. I can tell you that I could make a list of cards that you could find in the 10 cent box of your local card shop that could make a nice deck. |

I'm not interested in competitions, I just want to use a deck against the guys in the Anime Club. |

Well that is what I am saying. I can help you. You just need some cards to help you. Let me take a look at what you have and I will give you some suggestions |

What I typed down is all the cards at my disposal. Sadly, I don't have the key components for fusion yet. |

As I said. I can make a list of cards that can be found in a 10 cent box that can help make a good deck. |

Hmm... A good place to start is to grab a Starter/Structure Deck from any nearby store. Starters aren't always the way to go, but Structure Decks are already strong enough to take on competitive decks, and they're a good way to start looking at proper structure. |

Hmm...see, when i played YGO. I played compettitively and won quite a few touneys. hmm...if you need to make a good deck, like GLT said, go around and but structure decks. They have lots of good cards and are great for people who can't afford the rares that they sell in shops. also, give me a list of your current deck. I can probably help you tweak it to beat the shit out of anybody(or most...). Trust me. i know a lot about YGO and especially even more about decks(even though i don't play anymore...). |

I play the video games now more than anything because there's nowhere around here to play. I always had a hard time getting good cards as well. Ironically, my favorite style is Beat Down. I just love a Monster Field full of 4-star 1900 Atk creatures ^^; |

Same here, Hiro! though My deck basically spams ritual monsters, with the aid of a LOT of Sangan, Senju of the Thousand Hands, Sonic Bird, Pot/Jar of Greed, etc. Cards. |

Right, right, all I need is a 'revision' of the list that I provided so I can make a halfway decent deck since it's over the limit of cards that I can use. |
